This is really a fast and great way of serving something nice to your guests if you don't have time to make a cake. You can just make a Shortcrust pastry dough when you have time and make small shortcrust pastry "cups". The great part with these cups is that you can fill them what ever you have and like. This ones I filled with some orange fillets ,chopped roasted hazelnuts, some strawberries and topped them with an orange cream,strawberries and chocolate . They where very tasty and very easy to make as well .
Profiteroles is a mouthful of deliciousness! And the best part is that is so easy to make. I know people might have a few problems when they bake them, but as long as you don't open the oven door before they are ready they turn out nice and fluffy. These ones i filled with a caramel cream, but you can make any cream you like. I recently made some that i filled with blueberry cream and some filled with apricots cream.
This chocolate squares is actually cake balls in square shapes. The original cake balls are kind of cool looking but i must say i like the squares much better. I mean it taste of course the same, but this ones looks so much more delicate.So thees Chocolate squares are full of roasted almonds ,sweet chocolate and a pinch of vanilla.
This is a Norwegian desert with apples ,cream and sweet breadcrumbs.
