A huge cake!!


This cake was for a lot of people and it really became huge.I think it must have been around 8 kg. I didn't have much time to make it but i am kind of happy with the result. It is not so easy to get cream cake as nice and smooth as rolled fondant, but i feel cream cakes is much more tasty. This cake is made of two layers of Vanilla cake and one layer of chocolate cake filled with apricots jam ,vanilla marinaded apricots and a white chocolate cream.

Profiteroles


Profiteroles is a mouthful of deliciousness! And the best part is that is so easy to make. I know people might have a few problems when they bake them, but as long as you don't open the oven door before they are ready they turn out nice  and fluffy. These ones i filled with a caramel cream, but you can make any cream you like. I recently made some that i filled with blueberry cream and some filled with apricots cream. 

The worlds best cake

In Norway we have a cake called The worlds best, and it is really one of the best cakes you can get. Originally it is made a thin layer of vanilla cake topped with meringue and chopped almonds filled with thick vanilla cream. But i decided i wanted to make something else with this wonderful cake. So i made it like the original one with vanilla cake an meringue  but i had a thin layer of caramel mixed with salted peanuts and a thick layer caramel cream. It was very delicious . Salted peanuts and caramel   definitely belongs together.
